Samsung Galaxy S Mini Review

First impressions:
Very light.
Thin.
Large, bright, high resolution screen.
Easily confused as iphone by others.
Overall, gives a great first impression.

After a few days:
Postives:
Swype text input is fully implemented and proves to be accurate and super fast.
Front camera for video calling.
Battery lasts a full working day even with heavy usage.

Negatives:
Interface can stall/lag for part of a second occasionally. This is despite the 1 ghz processor.
Not vanilla android 2.x, but samsung os is very nice looking and practical.
No physical keyboard. Probably only relevant to those into emulated gaming. I might have to get an external controller or keyboard.

Minor issues:
Skype app for android not compatible (yet?)
No OTA firmware updates. Only updates by samsung PC software.
New messages not removed from notifications automatically when viewed.

Summary 9/10

Stay tuned for updates.
