Rename Alcohol Abuse

Alcohol Abuse is a curious term. In alcohol abuse it is not the alcohol that is abused. Sure, the alcohol does get drunk (not pun intended), but no-one would say that the alcohol itself is getting abused.
In child abuse, the child gets abused. In domestic abuse, one or more members of the domestic relationship get abused. In alcohol abuse, only the liver gets abused.
How about we call alcohol abuse, Liver Abuse? Makes sense to me.
