Gold Coast rain holiday and delayed flights

Kate and I are still on our honeymoon. We currently flying back home from the Gold Coast via Brisbane. Looking at the time stamp of this post it may be clear that there has been some form of delay to this flight.
This weekend the Gold Coast has received an incredible amount of rain. At least 30mm of rain yesterday (Saturday, 09/10/10) and over 60mm today (Sunday, 10/10/10).
By the way, the 10th of the 10th month 2010 is considered a lucky day in Chinese calender.
The rain is especially jolting given the fine weather for the wedding day in South Gippsland and the beautiful warmth and sunshine on Magnetic Island over the past week.
This recent weather has lead to multiple diverted landings from Gold Coast to Brisbane. Hence we were bused by Jetstar Buslines to Brisbane Airport.
However, this has been a great holday. Yesterday Kate and I did Wet N Wild and today we did Movieworld. Good times despite the rain.

Rename Alcohol Abuse

Alcohol Abuse is a curious term. In alcohol abuse it is not the alcohol that is abused. Sure, the alcohol does get drunk (not pun intended), but no-one would say that the alcohol itself is getting abused.
In child abuse, the child gets abused. In domestic abuse, one or more members of the domestic relationship get abused. In alcohol abuse, only the liver gets abused.
How about we call alcohol abuse, Liver Abuse? Makes sense to me.
